accommodations: We will stay in a local B&B or cabin on the night of July 24, we depart Homer by water taxi July 25 with the a.m. tide. We will have a yurt with a fireplace in and an out house to share; tent spots are numerous with beautiful views of the Alaskan ocean. Where we will paddle to numerous destinations including my favorite Tutka Lagoon, we will paddle among thousands of spawning salmon, seals, Eagles, it’s a magical location.
depart: Homer in the morning of July 25, by water taxi to our first location at kayak Beach. Kayak Beach has really well marked hiking trails from this location; days later we will move our camp to the back of Tutka Bay, where we will have another Yurt and paddle to Tutka Lagoon. We will return by water taxi to Homer on July 31. You will be on your own to return to Anchorage or continue on your Alaska adventure. this trip is for: We welcome both novice and experienced in kayaking and photography. trip fee: $1,500.00 USD trip fee includes: Transportation from Anchorage to Homer, lodging the night of the 24th, Yurts, Watertaxi’s, Kayaks, fishing gear, food, guide services and all meals from July 25 through lunch on the 31st of July. trip fee doesn’t include: Transportation from Homer to Anchorage, Alaska, and beverages in restaurants. Limited to 8 people per trip. Travelers’ insurance is recommended. |

Kayak within protected Bays of Kachemack Bay State Park. Hike to a glacier, walk to wonderful mountain lakes with trout and great scenery. This excursion presents once in a life-time chances to photograph plants, flowers and birds in the Alaskan wilderness daily. The menu includes fresh fish we catch including salmon, halibut and dolly varden, one of Alaska’s most sought-after sport fish. We do all the cooking... you enjoy 18 hours of daylight while paddling, hiking, fishing, and taking photos. |
