Awaken to a delectable breakfast of French toast adorned with local berries and organic Birch and maple syrup. You'll be sure to relish reindeer sausage, a favorite among previous guests who often stock up before leaving Alaska.
Diverse accommodation options
During your stay on Hesketh Island, choose from the cozy chalet with a welcoming communal area to the surf shack overlooking the beach. Alternatively, you can opt for deluxe wall tents equipped with queen beds, a fireplace, and breathtaking views. Evenings are highlighted by beachfront bonfires, including one night with Tim grilling wild game burgers on the shore.
Relax and unwind
At day's end spend some time in a wood-fired sauna with a serene stream flowing beneath. Optional activities abound, from kayaking in Kachemak Bay and observing sea otters, whales, Dahl porpoises, and majestic eagles to gaining insights from our kayak guide, Olga, a seasoned expert on humpback whales who has teamed up with Tim for over 25 years. Tim will also enhance your photography skills, ensuring you capture unforgettable memories of this extraordinary journey.

Asia Freeman, experience her painting class “Anyone can Paint”. Asia has had 23 exhibitions primarily in Alaska, but also Connecticut, Vermont, Washington, South Korea and Germany.

Is located 7 miles from the Homer Spit with the island serviced by water taxis. A short 40 minute scenic run across the bay takes you through Eldred Passage.
